BWLAM Presents: Combating Racism & Sexism In The Law & In Society.

Taylor Coleman Treasurer- Lynda McGhee, Parliamentarian- Tanisha Davis, Corresponding Secretary- Rita White, Recording Secretary- Amber Thomas Black Women Lawyers Association of Michigan (BWLAM) hosted its Harriet Tubman Social Justice Forum on Racism and Sexism in the Law and in Society on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 6pm at Detroit Mercy Law School. Remarks were given by BWLAM President Robyn L. McCoy and Detroit Mercy Law School Dean Jelani Jefferson Exum. Featured Panelists were Aclu Senior Staff Attorney, Syeda Davidson, Wayne County Executive Court Administrator, Attorney Zenell Brown, President of the Wayne County Criminal Defense Bar Association, Attorney Lillian Diallo. The event was moderated by Vice President Delicia Taylor Coleman and Parliamentarian and Detroit Mercy Law Alumni Tanisha Davis. Recording Secretary Amber Thomas, Corresponding Secretary Rita O. White and Treasurer Lynda McGhee were also present and involved with the planning of the event.
